The Physical Fitness Definition of yours Will Determine The Success of yours

It often amazes me that FITNESS is a multi billion dollar industry… Yet an excellent, concise and universal definition of fitness is tough to nail down.

Simply ask a person participating in a physical exercise routine, and even someone in the health sector for that matter, to give you an obvious definition of fitness.

You will most probably be welcomed with the “deer caught in the headlights” stare accompanied by absurd stammering.

Should you get a solution, it will most probably be slanted toward the particular abilities of an individual asked.

For example…

A marathon runner is going to define fitness in terms of cardiorespiratory and muscular endurance… A power-lifter is going to define fitness in terms of absolute strength… A bodybuilder will define fitness in conditions of muscle size as well as definition… etc.

But the overwhelming majority of people participating in a physical exercise routine aren’t professional athletes worried about the improvement of just one physical ability.
