US-born model and DJ Gabi Grecko, 25, has vowed to stand by her fiance Geoffrey Edelsten following news that overseas creditors plan to chase the businessman for his assets in Australia.
The 25 year-old blonde, who has been dating her 71 year-old lover for five months, told Daily Mail Australia on Saturday the couple are choosing to focus on the future.
‘We both can’t wait till the cases are over so we can be happy,’ Gabi said.

On Friday Geoffrey’s ex-wife Brynne Edelsten cut a sombre figure as she emerged from Melbourne Federal Court after a hearing that revealed overseas creditors want access to Geoffreys’s assets in Australia.

The platinum blonde, who normally favours risque ensembles, looked somewhat conservative in a knee length black dress with plunging neckline as she heard lawyers for her former husband’s creditors in the US argue his bankruptcy case Stateside should be heard as a foreign proceeding.

Emerging from the legal proceedings on the arm of an unknown gentlemen, presumed to be her lawyer, the 31-year-old blonde bombshell looked reflective in a pair of black-rimmed glasses.
She had heard lawyers for the Australian Taxation Office, the National Australia Bank and the body corporate of Mr Edelsten’s building argue in court over her ex’s remaining funds, of which she wants a slice as part of her divorce settlement divorce.
Oren Bigos, appearing for mawarqq the United States Trustee, said Edelsten had 38 unsecured creditors across the US, Australia and Singapore.

He said there was some debate over where Edelsten claimed to be living for the purpose of the bankruptcy.
Justice Jonathan Beach asked Mr Edelsten’s lawyer Georgia Berlic if she could say where her client claimed to be his place of ‘habitual residence’.
‘I have very limited instructions and I’m not able to answer those questions,’ Ms Berlic told the court on Friday.

Mr Edelsten declared bankruptcy in the United States after various deals with business partner Rafael Mawardi were unsuccessful.
He declared bankruptcy in Ohio, U.S in January, since then a lawsuit has been launched in Australia an effort to reclaim millions of dollars claimed to be owing.
The reported that the Australian Taxation Office are attempting to recoup money they claim they are owed during Friday’s hearing.

It has been previously claimed that Edelsten owes money to more than 40 creditors, including the National Australian Bank, Carlton Football Club, Etihad Stadium and Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
Brynne and Geoffrey are currently in the midst of a legal battle over the allocation of Mr Edelsten’s property holdings, which are being seized in a bid to repay his debts.
Last month reported that notorious Melbourne debt collector Mick Gatto had weighed in the conflict, visiting the former doctor at his Melbourne office.

The men reportedly spoke about what is allegedly owed to Brynne, claims have been made that Edelsten has been flouting his financial obligations.
Whilst Gatto refused to speculate on the settlement amount or the client who has requested his services, he said, ‘Geoff was quite happy to assist but he’s not really in a good financial position right now,’

Geoffrey, a former doctor who was de-registered in the late 1980s, married American socialite Brynne in a lavish $3 million ceremony in 2009, but the pair split last year.
His current girlfriend is US model and DJ Gabi Grecko and the pair got engaged a few months back and are apparently set to wed in early 2015.
