has spoken out after receiving a wave of hate from internet trolls following his split from ex-girlfriend earlier this year.
The winner, 23, who is now appearing on , revealed that despite an ‘amicable’ break-up, he was tarred by cheating allegations from the public.
Explaining that ‘people just slated me’, the Welshman continued that he was branded a ‘cheating scumbag’ as he claimed that fans rushed to take the Millie’s side.

Appearing on Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng’s Access All Areas show on FUBAR Radio, flirt Liam detailed the hate he was subjected to following his split from Millie, who he won Love Island with in 2021.
‘I think, naturally, the man usually gets the bad side of things. We broke up amicably, we’ve remained friends,’ he began.
Continuing: ‘Then people made up rumours of me cheating… and people just slated me, thousands of comments saying “he’s a scumbag”, “she was too good for him anyway”. You don’t even know me! I haven’t cheated and you’re just reading something you saw online.’
Admitting that people were quick to judge, the TV personality added: ‘Even now, people tend to take Millie’s side… Everybody loves Millie.’

At the time, a source close to the couple told MailOnline: ‘It’s been really hard for both Millie and Liam to come to this decision.
‘There has been no drama or wrongdoing and they both still fully support each other and will remain close friends.
‘They have moved out of the Essex home they shared together and are now looking forward to the future.’
While they also posted statements to their respective instagram accounts to update their followers on the split, again stressing that they had remained amicable.
